Guest Designer – November 8

We’re so excited to having Laura Jata joining us this month.  She’s the winner of our Fall |  Winter Coffee Lovers Blog Hop Graphic contest.  In case you missed it, the post is HERE.  It also include her bio too!

Hello, Coffee Lovers! I’m so excited to be sharing my cards with you as the Guest Designer for the Coffee Loving Cardmakers Blog for the month of November.

As the temperatures drop, why not warm up with a hot cup of coffee? But who stops at one cup only?

In creating my card, I started with using Stitched Scalloped Borders by Lawn Fawn to die cut a patterned paper table cloth. In addition, I did die cut one more scalloped border from white cardstock using smaller scalloped border die. I then glued both elements and popped them up on some foam tape. To outline the sides of my card, I used American Crafts Everyday Washi Tape in Copper.

Next, I stamped coffee cup images from the Lawn Fawn stamp set ‘ Love You a Latte’ and colored the images using Zig Clean Color Real Brush Pens. I used my white gel pen to add a few details. I then fussy cut the cups and mounted them on foam tape aligning everything on top of the table.

Next, I stamped the ‘hello you’ sentiment using Lawn Fawn ‘Scripty Sayings’ and for the finishing touch, I stamped the inside of the card as well.

I am so glad I was able to share some creativity with all of you today. Thank you for stopping by!
