Coffee Loving Papercrafters

Happy Monday!  I can’t believe how quickly time flies once October comes.  One after another holidays and birthdays and then it is time to ring in a new year.  I am trying to not to get ahead of myself but I do have a winter card for you today.  Let’s start with a little sneak peak shall we….

I bet you have already guessed who makes most of these products.  But I’ll give you the full reveal and details below and not keep you in too much suspense.

If you guessed Lawn Fawn and Doodlebug for the bulk of the products then you nailed it!  Here is what I did.  I knew I wanted to use the Lawn Fawn Thanks a Latte set, but I equally knew I wanted to use the Doodlebug Designs DP.  So I cut my background DP using Avery Elle Wonky Stitches and then went about finding the right DP for the cups to match.  They are just scraps of paper, so I can’t even be sure who makes them.  I wanted them to pop out from the backdrop so I cut the white circle using my Lawn Fawn circle dies.  Then I paper pieced and added my stamped/colored coffee and cocoa.  I placed them first and then added my sentiment to the circle (always a risky proposition to stamp second, but it worked out! ).  I stamped the sentiment on some Melon Mambo from SU! and added a few enamel dots from MME about the card.

I love the brights here and everything from Doodlebug is so darn cute!  The cups are just the perfect compliment.
