Hello there Coffee loving crafters! It’s Kerry here and I’m back with another Sunday Sip and Share creation! This week, I pulled out an adorable fall set (and dies) from SugarPea Designs called Indian Summer. I just love the little raccoon and wanted to incorporate him into a coffee/fall creation.
To create my card, I started out by painting some stripes of orange and yellow paint onto a piece of white cardstock. When it was dry, I cut this page into 1/4 inch strips and wove them into a simple design. I glued this woven piece onto some buttery yellow cardstock and then muted the color down with a little wash of cream acrylic paint. Next, I colored the raccoon, leaves and my own doodled coffee tumblers using Neocolor1 pastels.
I assembled all these elements onto the panel and then added some Hemptique twine. Next, I mounted the panel onto white cardstock and then onto a kraft card base.
To finish the card off, I added a bit of glaze to the leaves and pumpkins on the tumblers and then sprinkled them with clear microfine glitter. FUN! Next up, the coordinating sketch!
If you like this layout and design, why not give the sketch a try!?! Just create a card inspired by the sketch and post it in our inlinkz below. We’d love to see what you create with it!
