Hello there Coffee Loving crafters! It’s Kerry here and I’m back with another fun Sunday Sip! I hope you enjoyed the National Coffee Day hop! I was so inspired! There were hops within hops within hops so I hope I was able to visit and comment on each and every person/company blog participating! Whew…after all that hopping, I created a huge list of “I’ve gotta get that.” and was inspired to create one more little card. I think the color that I was most enamored with in the hop was this teal color…I saw a LOT of teal and orange and yellow…and I think that’s how this card came about!
To create my quick and somewhat CAS card, I selected a few new products to my inky collection! The cute mug and sentiment is from The Cat’s Pajamas. It’s called “This Could Be Vodka” I paired it with the scalloped border die called “Toppers CutUps”. It’s a great collection of stand alone dies that can be used as toppers or piercing elements!

After coloring the adorable bear and mug image with my Copic markers, I fussy cut it and mounted it onto a stitched strip of paper. I then pierced the card base with the topper die. Once that was complete, I punched a variety of holes into the paper and attached a white panel behind it to allow the holes to stand out. I gave a little bit of glimmer to the card too with some microfine glitter. The sentiment was then stamped onto a little pennant and attached to the card. Orange Hemptique twine tied it all up nice and pretty.

If you enjoyed this quick and simple card, You might be interested in playing along with the coordinating sketch below. Just create something coffee-licious and share a link with us in our inlinkz below. We’d love to see what you create! Have a great week!
