Coffee Loving Papercrafters

Welcome to another Caffeine Fueled Paper Play!  This time I’m playing along with a challenge over at Rubbernecker Stamps Fans Facebook Group!  The challenge is Anything Goes and all you have to do is create something using any Rubbernecker stamps and add it to the Create and Share 9/2018 Album to be eligible to win.  Here’s how I was inspired:

I knew I wanted to use this adorable Coffee Blanket stamp set that I purchased using a gift code I won during the last Coffee Loving Cardmakers Blog Hop… along with a few other things..lol!  And right away when I looked at her expression I knew she was on Cloud 9 enjoying her morning cup alongside her cat wrapped in her favorite blanket!

I started with the background.  I cut a 5 1/4 x 4″ piece of watercolor paper and used the quite awesome Coffee Bean Background to stamp the front of it with Versamark and heat emboss it with some Shabby White embossing powder… becasue the white is kind of chunky… it didn’t adhere very well to the thin lines of the coffee beans so my beans are mostly gold glitter which is also in the Shabby White.. but guess what!  I don’t mind at all!  Then I added some blue watercolor all over and let it dry.

Then I stamped colored and cut all of my images.  I die cut some clouds and scallopy strips from white glitter paper using some dies from Craftin Desert Divas.  I attached the scallop pieces and layered them so I could nestle her in among them.

And originally I was going to have her feline buddy floating on the cloud along with her but then I decided to make it a little more whimsical and have him floating around behind on his own little cloudy piece of heaven enjoying his morning cuppa!  You know how cats are … they’re kinda independent…lol!
