Coffee Loving Papercrafters

Hey there Coffee Loving crafters!  It’s Kerry here and I’m back with a fun Sunday SIp and Share.  I’ve been MIA for a while as I spent some time playing Taxi for my Mom after she had surgery.  It’s also a busy Back To School season so I’m feeling a bit of the cramps in my crafty adventure time.  And now, I’m finishing up on helping prep for my Mom and Dad’s 50th Wedding Anniversary!  Right about now, I’m probably cleaning up the mess after the party and all the people have gone home.  Whew.  What a whirlwind of a few months!

I created this card with some of the “extras” left from the announcement/invites I made as well as the specialty gifts for their guests.  I’m glad I had a few bits and pieces left so I gathered them all together, added a bit of orange and whipped this card up.  I suppose I could have made a million Thank You cards to give to my parents as a gift but…I just had no more minutes left to create!  Soooo…I’ll give them this one and poof…Thanks for getting married, having kids, and sticking it out for 50 years!  HEE HEEThis card was created using products from our Super Sponsor Fun Stampers Journey: Coffee First Die Set and the Mini Greetings ATS stamp set.  I also used the Blooming Details Die Set and the Spring Bloom Minis.  I see that their solid core cardstock packs are on sale this month so I’ll mention that I used the Oatmeal Cookie, Whip Cream, Lemongrass and Tangerine Fusion Cardstock for this creation.  To add some extra pop, I diecut the golden flower with some gold foil paper from Michael’s (very flimsy, but works) and also cut the little flower with some Pineapple Smoothie cardstock.  I added a bit of the extra ribbon that was left from their invitations.  To finish off the decor, I added some Ripened Pumpkin Nuvo Drops for the flower center and the little dots on the card itself.  The sentiment was stamped using what was handy right beside me:  My Memento Dew Drop ink (Rich Cocoa).
