Welcome to another Caffeine Fueled Paper Play! Today I’m playing along with the monthly Share Your Design Challenge over at Super Sponsor Gerda Steiner Designs! Love this one because you’ve pretty much got free reign! Anything Goes.. just use any Gerda Steiner Designs stamps and link up for a chance to win a prize! Here’s how I was inspired:
I’m sure you’ve seen this adorable little Coffeesaurus stamp set from the Gerda Steiner shop! I bought him a while ago and finally got a chance to ink him up! Gerda Steiner Designs has a whole bunch of fun critter/coffee related stamp sets… you should check them all out here! I started with those awesome Distressed Edge Rectangle Dies from Super Sponsor Kat Scrappiness and some more fun paper from the Fun in the Sun paper pad from Doodlebug Designs. I knew these dies and papers would be perfect to go with my Coffeesaurus!
Adorable, right?? And I used the leaves from Super Sponsor Newton’s Nook’s Hibiscus Die Set. I was so tempted to add the flowers from this beautiful set also, lol! But I decided to refrain so I could give this card to almost anyone! Well, anyone that understands my love for coffee anyway… I mean otherwise they might not appreciate exactly HOW MUCH I love them!
And of course the adorable sentiments in the set… and SO versatile because you can put them together however you want… awesome! I was so excited to find scraps of that watercolored paper in my stash! It was all of the right colors and just enough to cut my sentiment panel and leaves from… like it was meant to be! I just scattered a few pretty sequins around from Super Sponsor Pretty Pink Posh and done!
So that’s it for me today! Hope you enjoyed your visit and I really do appreciate you stopping by! Hope you’ll give this Share Your Designs Challenge over at Gerda Steiner Designs a try! The rules really are basically to use stamps from Gerda Steiner Designs in your project and you have until the end of the month to link up!
Also, don’t forget that Kat Scrappiness is having a Coffee & Critters Challenge for August! I’m entering this one there as well ’cause I’ve got both.
Happy Crafting!
