Welcome to another edition of Caffeine Fueled Paper Play! Today I’m playing along with a challenge over at Super Sponsor Lawn Fawn’s Blog! This time around the challenge is all about Fun Folds! Here’s the Inspiration Photo:
And here’s how I was inspired:
I decided to use the Shadow Box Card die set to create my “Fun Fold” card! I picked this up a while ago at one of my local papercraft supply stores, Scraps of Love. It wasn’t on my radar at the time, but one of the oh so helpful ladies there introduced me to it and explained to me why I needed it.. and of course, she was right! So I bought it! Easy peasy, right? It will be handy for SO many cute little 3D scenes.. here I decided I’d have lots of donuts just rolling along the hills … my own little fantasy world where donuts have no calories and they’re just everywhere you look. I love that you can cut layers for the sides and back also and the set comes with some accessories like the trees in the background, some smaller trees, an adorable birdie, and a stitched oval.
And I picked up the adorable Pumpkin Spice and Donut Worry sets in the Lawn Fawn shop. $4!!! Just $4 for each set .. and only another $3-$4 if you want the coordinating dies. I’ll be honest… I didn’t buy the Donut Worry die because I have lots of circles, right?? Well, next time I shop I’ll be throwing that one in my cart for sure… it cuts the little hole in the center! One of those times I needed someone to tell me why I needed it..lol!
And just a quick view from the top… that sun I put together with a flower die from ODBD and a little sun from CDD. I didn’t have a sun quite the right size for this scene so I improvised! Oh… and these plaid papers… why not???
