Coffee Loving Papercrafters

Hey there, Katie here!  The weekend is just never long enough, I always long for more.  But I can’t complain too much, had fun with my family at the Seattle Center Fountain this weekend.   Here is a snap shot of us enjoying ourselves.

But back to the good old bump and grind.  Why not start the day off with a nice iced coffee eh?

This card was SUPER easy to make.  I started off with MFT Cool Cups dies (which are unfortunately retired- boooohoooo!).  I distressed it using my Ranger vintage photo ink.  I colored the straw with a green Copic.  I then took my base layer and ran it through my big shot with this fun Taylored Expressions star embossing folder.  Next I die cut some stars using my Memory Box star dies, again I used a green Copic to make them green.  Lastly, I came in with strip of DP that had a build in sentiment, I love that it has a little gold sparkle.

LIke I said, this card was so easy.  Here is a close up of the embossing folder and the sentiment.  See that fun gold in there!
