Hello there Coffee/Tea/Cocoa loving crafty friends! It’s Kerry here and I’m back with another fun Sunday Sip! Today I decided to get the watercolors and acrylic paint out for my project. I watercolored (using FSJ Liquid Colors) some yellow stripes on a piece of white cardstock. Then, I added some ivory acrylic paint over that to mute the color down. After the paint dried (with a little help from my heat gun), I stamped the fun little “floral elements” from an older Neat and Tangled set called Scandinavian Prints using VersaFine Clair Charming Pink and Versafine Onyx Black. I heat set it and added some ivory acrylic paint over that to push the image into the background a bit.
I stamped the sentiment onto a piece of cardstock (also painted the ivory color) and clear embossed it then stamped the coffee cup and teapot from the Studio Katia Sweet Latte set
To finish the card off, I diecut (using a ric-rac die from Right at Home) attached the panel to the pink base panel and attached the sentiment, Hemptique twine, the coffee items and of course my favorite embellishments…coffee beans! Hope you enjoy!
PS. If you’re diggin’ this layout, join the fun and play along. Add your project to our inlinkz below. We’d love to see it!
