Hello there coffee loving crafters! it’s Kerry here and I’m back with another fun Sunday Sip! Today I thought I would incorporate a photo onto my card. As many of you know, just like stamps, I collect handmade mugs too. The mug pictured here is one of my newest beauties. It is made by Hammerly Ceramics. I love using and displaying them…and taking pretty photos with them! I grabbed this photo off my phone and printed it on my Polaroid Zip and then incorporated it into my card design.

To create my card, I started out by stamping the Hero Arts background “Garden Bold Prints” onto Blue cardstock and Pink cardstock using Clear embossing ink. I used some clear embossing powder to make the image glossy. After that, I punched a scalloped circle out and stamped the COFFEE sentiment from the Studio Katia set called Sweet Latte onto it with Versafine Onyx ink and then embossed that too. Next, I handcut some leaves from white cardstock and then spritzed some Limeade Splash Liquid Color (Fun Stampers Journey) onto the leaves and then flicked some Sparkle Silk (FSJ) onto the leaves to give some fun color. I love how the sparkle silk reacted to my cardstock and changed colors!
I folded these little leaves and then started to assemble my card. Finishing off the embellishing, I added a wooden veneer heart, some gold thread and a few real coffee beans then I mounted the photo into place.
I had a lot of fun creating this card. Hope you enjoyed it! If you like the card, you might be interested in making something with the coordinating sketch below! Join the fun and play along. Make sure to add your link to our inlinkz below!
