Sunday Sip…Recipe for YUM!

Hey there coffee loving crafters!  It’s Kerry here and I’m back with another Sunday Sip and Share!  Today I’m sharing a tasty little card featuring some new goodies I picked up while visiting the Scrapbook Expo this weekend.  I was lucky to hang out and work the Picket Fence Studio booth in Chantilly, VA and I had a lot of fun!  I picked up some goodies from the booth too!  This card features the Planner Girls Hang Out stamp set and a fun Nicole Petersen Designs ice cream/popsicle die set (not yet on her Picket Fence website) from .  I made a mighty tasty ice cream cone- fresh and deeelish.  Matcha goodness through and through!

After assembling the ice cream cone (with matcha ice cream), I added the mocha chocolate some fun little sprinkles and a very tasty sugar cone.  I mounted it onto a banner that was stamped with the planner box stamp.  I listed all the ingredients for my tasty treat too.  It’s REALLY a deelish summer treat.  I mounted this little banner onto a card panel that was in my stash of gel press backgrounds.  I cut the panel a bit then attached it to a kraft panel then stitched the edges with my sewing machine.

To finish the card off, I mounted a little piece of green cardstock onto the banner then tied a bit of twine around this panel.  I attached it to a kraft card base and called it done…Oh wait, I ran up to my kitchen to make a little snack and photo prop too.  Just a little ice blended in my Vitamix and covered in matcha simple syrup and a sprinkling of colorful non-perils.  YUM!

Inspired by this weeks card?  I created a little sketch for you to play with!  Please join us by creating a fun card and posting your creation in our inlinkz below.
