Thursday Coffee Break ~ I think you’re amazing

Today I have a mixed media card that I created using some products from amazing Super Sponsor Companies!!!

The stamp set I used is one of the new Graciellie Design rubber stamp sets that was just released at Unity Stamp Company. The stamp set name is Tea Cup Flower. This set is packed with gorgeous tea cup image and encouraging sentiments.

I started with creating the background using Catherine Pooler Ink Pads: Aquatini, Fiesta Blue, Something Borrowed, and Flirty Fuchsia – that I got from A Jillian Vance Design store, who is also Super Sponsor for our amazing coffee loving community! I added the inks on craft mat, prayed with water, and added the watercolor paper in the ink. I dried the ink at each time I added color. After I got the look I like, I sprayed with some water using Distress Sprayer bottle, let it sit for couple of seconds, and dabbed it of with paper towel. I dried it one more time with craft heater. I trimmed the watercolored background panel into 4.25″ x 5.5″ and added it on an A2 white card base with dries clear adhesive glue.

I colored the tea cup and flower image with Leisure Arts Watercolor Pencils with waterbrush. After the watercolor paint dried, I added a layer of glitter using Spectrum Noir Clear Sparkle Brush Pen. That give this image some extra sparkle look. I dried the image with craft heater and then I fussy cut it using micro-tip scissors. I added the finished image on the card with dries-clear adhesive glue.

For the sentiment, I die cut it using one of the Pierced Rectangles Dies from Super Sponsor Our Daily Bread Designs. I added it on the card with 3D fun foam and dries-clear adhesive glue.

Final step, I embellished this card with some of the purple glitter enamels I have in my stash. Card is done.
