Coffee Loving Papercrafters

Welcome to another Caffeine Fueled Paper Play!  Sometimes a sponsor doesn’t have their own challenge to play along with, but I have a few fun challenges I like to join when I can!  One of my faves is the Cupcake Inspirations Challenge!  I love their fun cupcake themed pictures they use for the Inspiration Photo… but your project doesn’t have to use cupcakes!  Here is the inspiration for this challenge:

And I’ve created two cards for this challenge using lots of stuff from lots of our Hop Super Sponsors!  Here’s my first one:

For this one, I’ve used a bunch of my favorite crafty items!  I started with that pretty Heart design paper from My Favorite Things that I cut using the Double Stitched dies from Kat Scrappiness and of course some plaid on the cup from Lawn Fawn (You had to know there would be plaid)!  And I knew I wanted to use my new stamps from The Ink Road… that adorable pup from the Bork Stamp Set… you have got to check that one out with it’s assortment of stubby little pups, the sentiment from the Fur Babies Stamp Set, and those beautiful bold florals from the Bella Flora Stamp Set!

This To Go Cup die from Cas-ual Fridays was perfect!  I originally cut it in white, but with my dark pup it just was too stark.  I colored that cutie to look like my fur baby Slim…. I loved that this pup had one backwards ear, because Slim’s got huge ears just like this and is always twisting and turning them every which way!  And I kept the sentiment simple… these are two of my favorite things.

Adorable, right??  And those flowers!!  So beautiful!  The pretty doily from Gina Marie Designs and a few Shimmer Sequins from CDD were just right to finish it up.

My second card is using some of my new stamps from Super Sponsor Rubbernecker Stamps!  Here’s what I created:

These owls!!!!  Just adore them… and I didn’t get ALL of them, but pretty close!  Meet Campbell and Epstein!  Adorable!!  I started this one using some Lawn Fawn Plaid (of course).

This is Campbell.  He’s just getting up and he didn’t sleep well last night.. thank goodness for his coffee!  I did add an extra circle around his pupil and didn’t worry about it being a “circle”… I think it makes him look even more tired…lol!

And this is Epstein.  He’s a lover, not a fighter.  His coffee is big enough to share… isn’t he just the sweetest??  And another one of my favorite coffee cups… the Coffee Cup Fri Die from Cas-ual Fridays… LOVE that heart shaped cut out handle!!

And this Got Coffee sentiment from Kat Scrappiness… LOVE the fun font!  I cut it out in black, green and yellow and stacked them offset just a bit from each other just for fun!
