Coffee Loving Papercrafters

Hey there coffee-loving crafters!  It’s Kerry here and I’m back with another fun Sunday Sip and Share!  This week, I’m sharing some Rock-On thank you cards I made for the teachers on my Kindergarten teaching team.  We have ONE MORE WEEK to go and we’re feeling the home stretch vibes!  WOOP!  Next, we’ll have a few weeks off and then we’ll all be back for Summer Bridge to K and Summer STEAM enrichment classes…I’m so looking forward to a little rest!

I created this card using a brand spankin’ new set from a brand spankin’ new stamp company called Picket Fence Studios.  Have you heard of them?  They’ve been around four months and with what I’ve seen, they should be around for quite some time!  I recently found out about them via a Scrapbook Expo Facebook post and I just had to check them out…specifically to see if they had any coffee themed sets/stamps.  I was pleased to find quite a few and into the cart they went!  I was extra thrilled when I spied this fun coffee set called “Good Teacher”!  It’s the perfect set for teachers who need a perk-me-up!  **They are offering FREE SHIPPING on every order within the USA!**

I started out by stamping the background paper with the two “Rock-On” hands with some Oatmeal Cookie ink from Fun Stampers Journey and then I stamped the cup and a piece of one of the sentiments (TEACH.) with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and then colored with my Copics.  After that, I fussy cut the cup and popped it up on some foam squares.  I wanted these cards to feature some teacher tools of the trade so I pulled out my Post-It Flags and some graph paper and assembled them onto my panel I also think a few Post-it Sticky Notes would look fabulous stacked on the card…but I left them at school so didn’t have any handy.  I also thought of adding some paperclips, but those were nowhere to be found.  LOL.  So instead,  I added a little twine to “hold it all down” and mounted the panel onto a white card base.  FUN!
