Hello there Coffee Loving Papercrafters! It’s Kerry here and I’m back with another installment of my Sunday Sip and Share. I’m in mad Coffee Loving Cardmakers Hop creation mode and just had to take a break to make this pretty in pink number with many of the goodies on my workspace. You see, I work around a TON of crafty goodies just staring at me while I craft. How about you? Do you work at a location filled with crafty goodies or is your workspace clean crisp and free from clutter? I’ve tried many times to keep my space clear, but I’ve resolved myself to the fact that I have lots of good stuff and I need to reach it! HA HA!
This card was created with the goodies within reach on my craft table. Lots of Color medium to choose from, several stamp manufacturers and many many tools of the trade. WOOP! To create my card, I selected a few stamp sets on my desk: Coffee Helps (by Fun Stampers Journey) and Doodle Flowers (by Joy Clair). I stamped the images with Memento Tuxedo Black ink onto white cardstock (I use Neenah Coverstock). To add a bit of color to my stark white cardstock, I brushed some stripes of Watermelon Fusion Liquid Color (Fun Stampers Journey) onto the card panel and then stamped the florals along the edge.
I splattered some Whip Cream Silk, Black Licorice and Sparkle Silk (Fun Stampers Journey) onto the panel to add a bit of sparkle then added some washi tape from my stash (Fun Stampers Journey. I painted the flowers with a light touch of Bubble Gum Liquid Color too. After that, diecut the panel with a fun scalloped die from Fun Stampers Journey.
To finish the card off, I added some black squiggles with my Micron pen, some Black Nuvo Drops sprinkled with some Silver Embossing Powder from Hero Arts and tied some black twine on for good measure. I also added one silver pearl to give it a bit ‘o bling!
I created a sketch to go along with this card as well. If you are inspired by this sketch (or my card), please feel free to join me in creating a card from it! I’d love to see what you do with it! Just add a link to your creation in our inlinkz below!
Thanks for stopping by and see you again at the end of the week as we begin our epic Summer Blog Hop! WOO WOO!
