Hello there Coffee Loving papercrafters! It’s Kerry here and I’m back with another Sunday Sip! I played around with some posies since today is a day for flowers! Happy Mother’s Day to all the Mom’s out there. Thanks a Latte for doing your Mommy best!
I’ve wanted to create a coffee-licious card with this Studio Katia Japanese Peony stamp set combined with the Sweet Latte set for quite some time but I couldn’t decide on the color. So today, I just sat down and closed my eyes and picked a color. I stamped the flower onto the light blue cardstock with some coordinating Memento ink then colored the flower with a trio of reeealy light Copic colors. After coloring, I added a few dots of white ink using my Jelly Roll pen. Next, I stamped the sentiment and mounted the panel onto some cream cardstock.
I then mounted this panel onto some gray cardstock, then applied this panel to a white card base. I stamped some of the leaves from this set and pulled the little latte cup off the cling paper so I could use that on my card too. They were also colored with Copics. To finish the card off, I added a little tag and some black twine and then mounted the leaves/cup in a pleasing manner.
Like this sketch? If you do, I encourage you to play along and create a project inspired by it! Just add your link to the inlinkz below.
Have a great week!
