Welcome to another Caffeine Fueled Paper Play! Today I’m playing along with a few challenges using some awesome stuff from a few different sponsors! In fact technically… I think this is a Three-fer!
First up I’m playing along with the A2Z Scrapbooking Flower Power Challenge and A Blog Named Hero Put A Flower On It Challenge
And here’s how I was inspired:
Cute, right?? So do you remember we had a Collab hop a couple weeks ago with Super Sponsor A2Z Scrapbooking? And do you remember, not only do they sell lots of cool Hero Arts stuff in their Etsy shop, but now they have a new line of digis from Sugar Tree Stamps and that cup is from the Hug In A Mug set! And I had printed the cup on this one for that hop but hadn’t used it yet.
And then Super Sponsor Hero Arts had their April release and .. well… this Chihuahua and those flowers and that sentiment?? Not to mention that gorgeous flowery frame die! So I bought the My Monthly Hero April 2018 Kit and the It’s Fiesta Time stamp set… free shipping, right?? #AMYMADEMEBUYIT… So, then I thought wouldn’t that cup cozy look cool colored as if it was weaved from strips from a Mexican blanket?
So I drew in some lines, solid and dashed and colored the stripes in with my Copics. Then I stamped, colored and diecut some of the pretty flowers from the Kit of the Month.
And of course… the perfect sentiment… cause I LOVE the Hot Stuff AND whoever gets this will love to be called Hot Stuff! I hope you’ll play along with both of these challenges!
Secondly, we just had a Collab Hop with Super Sponsor Little Acres Creations during their 2nd Birthday Celebration. Part of that celebration is a Challenge to create something with the theme of Coffee and/or Nature! So I thought it would be fitting to play along with that one too! And here’s how I was inspired for this one:
I can’t seem to get enough of this adorable Cafe Dreamers set that was released this month at Little Acres so I thought I’d make one more! That cute little mouse is so wistfully gazing I thought … what might he also be thinking of besides the stars… well… of course the answer is his sweetheart! The paper is from Super Sponsor Pink & Main; it’s called Spring Fling and I LOVE it!
And I finally remembered to give him his little crown (love this sweet little addition to the stamp set!!). SO sweet! The little Mouse Prince!
And I found the perfect heart to frame the vision of his Princess in my Paper Sweeties dies.. and I threw a few more tiny heart images around (another sweet stamp on the LAC set that Kerry used so awesomely in this card (if you didn’t see it already, please do when you’re done here!)
So … here’s where I admit to you that originally I was going to use one of the sentiments from the Cafe Dreamers set, mask it a bit and use “I Miss You” as the sentiment, BUT it’s hard to do that when you’ve lost the sentiment from your set!! Yup… gone… I used it the other day and who knows where it is now… is it in me dog’s belly? Is it in the paper garbage? (Yes, I will be searching through that before it goes in the recycling or gets any fuller!) Is it stuck to the bottom of an ink pad? It is NOT in my Misti… and it is NOT where it should be. SO! I decided this one was pretty perfect too… it’s from the Summer Blessings set and I think it was meant to be… so … any time now … I can find my lost stamp… tapping my fingers..
So that’s me for today! I hope you join me playing along with all of these challenges! Please don’t forget about this:
