Coffee Loving Papercrafters

Good Morning Friends!  I hope you are looking forward to an exciting week!  Why not start it off with a chuckle eh?

This card cracks me up!  I love the contrasts it features… the bright colors, the rainbow cup and sweet unicorn but the messy background and grumpy sentiment.  The background is made using a Tim Holtz stencil and Ranger Distress ink.  I added the pink ribbon.  The front layer uses a Gina Marie Die and I stamped and colored the Gerda Steiner unicorn and cup with my Copics.  I created my own puddle of spilled coffee.  (Please tell me I am not the only one who has done this in the early am before work, so frustrating!)  The bottom sentiment is from Technique Tuesday and simply perfect.

As a bonus, I have a second card for you.

This second uni isn’t quite as grumpy.  I love the rainbow hair that goes so nicely with the strip of hearts.  That is a small piece of Doodlebug Designs DP. The sentiment on this one is from the Gerda Steiner set and stamped in a purple SU! ink.

I hope your day starts great, but if it starts grumpy, I hope you get your coffee and shake it off!
