Happy Thursday, Coffee Loving friends!
It’s Dana here with another inspiration in this week. Today, I tried to give a chalkboard effect to my card for the first time and it was so fun. Here is what I came up with.
First, I prepared A2 sized dark grey top folding card base. I then trimmed down patterned paper from Lawn Fawn Really Rainbow Petite and die cut it with Altenew Notebook Die. I glued it on the card base.
I pulled out Simon Says Stamp Coffee Hour stamp set and Tim Holtz Blueprint Mini Strip Stamps-Fresh Brewed and white heat embossed them onto black card stock. SSS Coffee Hour stamp set was free gift during our last fall blog hop and it is so cute! I die cut the black panel with Lawn Fawn Outside In Stitched Rectangle Stackables. To create a chalkboard look, I sponged Hero Arts Unicorn Pigment Ink on the black panel using mini blending tool.
For coffee bean embellishment, I stamped coffee bean image from SSS Coffee Hour stamp set and colored it with copic markers. Then, I covered it with Nuvo Crystal Drops Morning Dew and let it dried. Once dried, I adhered small foam adhesive behind it and mounted with hemp cords and black panel as shown in the picture.
I hope you enjoyed this card. Thank you so much for stopping by today!
Love,
Dana
