Coffee Loving Papercrafters

Are you ready for another Caffeine Fueled Paper Play?  Today I’m playing along with the new, re-booted Paper Smooches monthly challenge.  This month there is a Sketch Challenge.  Here’s the sketch:

And here’s how I was inspired:

I love making inlaid cards with this adorable Cozy Coffee die!  And it’s fun to mix and match all of the pieces to make different cups.  I always save my extra pieces for future projects and I used some of those on this card.  I just keep them in the package with the dies so I know exactly where they are!

I cut my layer pieces using some Doodlebug design papers and cardstock.  Then I cut the cup image out of the banner; attached the banner to the card and then added adhesive to the whole inside of the cut out piece.  Then I just placed my cut pieces like a puzzle… a really really easy puzzle.  This Punny Doodlebug paper is perfect along with some fun Paper Smooches dies!

I LOVE these flowers from the Pocket Die!  I had leftovers from cutting them for my first submission to this sketch challenge (you can see that here if you’d like).  I just left all of the flower dies attached to each other and cut a couple sets out of four different colors.   It was so easy to create with this sketch that I created another one!

Instead of the coffee cup, on this one I used the Embroidery Hoop Die (which includes those adorable stitched coffee cup and heart dies) along with the Stitched Circle Die.

You CAN cross stitch in the cuts from these Stitched dies, but you don’t have to!  You can also stamp on them or use die cuts on them like I did here.  And they make an awesome background piece all by themselves!  There is a rectangle, a square and the circle available!
