Valentines. It’s my favorite holiday by far and away, and I never seem to have enough cards to give away. Shoutout to anyone who wants to start a year-round Valentine’s Day card challenge the way there are so many Christmas card challenges. Keep my on task to build my stash!
For this particular card, I busted out two products that I bought almost a year ago and haven’t used (gasp* I know!). The first product is an incredibly amazing stamp set from Unity called Martha Girl. (PSSST! This is on sale right now for $10 – that’s $16 off the normal price!!)
I absolutely love this stamp set, because Martha Girl’s craft desk looks EXACTLY like mine, down to the two different vessels for coffee. 🙂 Also, valentine’s cards hold such a special place in my heart because my grandma and I used to always get together for craft sessions – and her name was Martha. Sooooo pretty much this design was made for me.
I also bought Spectrum Illustrator markers about at year ago, too, but I haven’t busted them open. You guys. I freaking love them. The tips on the Illustrators are soooo much easier to use for fine coloring than the originals. I especially noticed it when I was coloring the hair.
Some patterned paper, glittery hearts, and a sentiment later and my card was finished. So how about you? Are you still working on Valentine’s cards?
Thanks for stopping by!
