Happy Friday! Today we have our Guest Designer, Larissa Heskett sharing a gorgeous project. We’re sad to see her go, we have been so thoroughly inspired by all of her projects! We’ll be doing a quick look at all her projects at the end of this post!

Hello Coffee Loving Card Makers, Larissa here and I’m so HAPPY to back with another Project!!
Today I’m showcasing some of the AMAZING Paper Smooches Products!!
I LOVE to stitch on my Projects!! I hope my project for today will inspire you to give stitching a try if you’ve never done it!!??
I’m a planner, so before I got started I Printed off the FREE Download that Paper Smooches has to Plan out my Design!!
You can also Die Cut the Stitching Die you plan on using and sketch out your Design like I did here!!

I started by Die Cutting the NEW Stitched Circle Die from some 110 lb Cardstock and Stitched my design, using all 6 strands of DMC Floss in 3 shades of Turquoise for a Dimensional looking Coffee Mug!! I also used some Light Pink and Seed Beads to Create a Dimensional Heart onto the front of my Coffee Mug and I just LOVE the way it turned out!! I added some Black Stitching to create a surface to ground my Image!! I then took the NEW In Stitches Stamp Set and Stamped the Swirl Image 3 times to create some Steam using MFT Grey Grout Ink!! To finish of the Embroidery Hoop I Die Cut the Embroidery Hoop Die 3 times from some MFT Grey Grout Cardstock and glued them together to create a 3-D Hoop!! I did the same with the Hoop Screw and adhered it in between the layers of the Hoop!! I glued the Hoop onto my Stitched Circle and my Hoop was finished!!

I wanted a Distressed base for my Hoop so I inked some Distress Watercolor Paper with Tumbled Glass Distress Ink and splattered it with Water Droplets!! Then I created an inlaid Pattern using the Stitching Dies also included in the Embroidery Hoop Die Set!! I adhered that panel onto my Card Base with Fun Foam after I Stamped and Embossed the Sentiment “Thanks Sew Much” also from the In Stitches Stamp Set onto the Base of my Card. Some Sequins that match the Beads were added to create a color triangle and then I added some Tonic Studios Bubblegum Nuvo Drops to the center of the Sequins for some Texture!! A few 3mm Pretty Pink Posh Sparkling Clear Sequins finish off my design!!

I hope you feel inspired to give Stitching on your projects a try!!??

THANKS SO MUCH for stopping by and I hope you have a FABULOUS WEEKEND!!
