Hi, Coffee Loving friends!
It’s Dana here back with another Tuesday crafTEA Time. Today, I have a simple shaker card to share with you.
I started by creating my own background. I randomly stamped cup and heart images from Simon Says Stamp Coffee and Tea stamp set with MFT Natural Dye Ink. I die cut scalloped heart from background paper and a piece of red card stock using Pretty Pink Posh Love Shaker. I placed red heart instead of original one from background panel and taped behind the heart using paper tape. I then glued acetate on it using double sided tape.
Going back to the card front, I pulled out my stamping tool, Tim Holtz Stamping Platform and stamped sentiment from SSS Coffee and Tea stamp set with Versafine Onyx Black and Vintage Sepia. I especially stamped ‘coffee & you’ sentiment 5 times to get more rich brown color.
I then built a shaker part using thick foam adhesive behind the background panel and put sequins from PPP 4mm Cupped Espresso on A2 sized brown card base. I mounted my background panel to the card base and embellished some sequins on the front acetate as shown.
I hope you enjoyed today’s card. And… Do you know fun event on this Friday? I’m sharing my sneak peek for upcomping Graciellie Design & Coffee Loving Cardmakers Collab Blog Hop! See you around!
Love,
Dana
