Hey all! Katie Brooks here with my first official Coffee Loving Cardmaker’s Designer post and I am soooo excited to be here!
Monday’s are filled with madness for me (work, kiddo at school, Camp Fire after, etc) but I have a my fun graphic to help me stay calm and collected….
I sure hope my strategy works! LOL! It is so darn cute it is bound to do the trick… Now to share my first official DT creation:
For this card, I started with my white card base. I stamped the sentiment and hearts and added some color. The purple grid is a actually the leftovers from some pre-cut tags (maybe a Paper Pumpkin Kit?), but I knew I couldn’t just toss it, so I upcycled it. For a fun add, cut frilly Crafter’s Companion edge-able border and attached it along the bottom. The star of the show, however, is that cute Dino Gal! I colored the image from Gerda Steiner Designs (a CLC hop Super Sponsor) with my Copics. Purple was my color of choice to compliment the grid AND to represent valentines colors. I cut her out using my Scan ‘n Cut and popper her up on the page. I think this will make the perfect valentine for a friend.
Now I don’t know how you interpret RAWR, but to this gal it means coffee…and I can see why. She is ready to down that cup and I am ready too!
