Welcome to another Caffeine Fueled Paper Play! Today, I’m playing along with Super Sponsor Poppy Stamps Monthly Challenge PSC#40 – Snow Day!
Here’s what I have for you today:
So what better on a snowy day then to sit at the table looking out the window at the pretty snow falling while you’re warm and cozy inside your house sipping on a cup of hot… well… whatever! (Mine has coffee in it… in case you didn’t guess). To play along in the Poppy Stamps challenge you need to use at least one Poppy Stamps product… I just got that awesome Morning Cup die that I’ve been wanting forever as well as the beautiful Stitched Evangeline Snowflakes dies recently (along with a few other things…as always…lol!) and knew I’d be using these when I saw the challenge theme, Snow Day!
I started with some stitched square layers, including that beautiful snowflake paper from Gina K Designs Blizzard Paper Pack and the Inside Scalloped Square Die from Craftin Desert Divas.
Then I started layering on my table setting. I used the Authentique Fabulous paper pack for the rest of my pieces. Love the fun patterns and colors in this one and I know if I’m staring at the beautiful but chilly scene outside, I’d like to be reminded of warmer times and this flamingo cup and floral patterned china might just do it! The cup is from Poppy Stamps (previously mentioned Morning Cup die), the donuts are from Taylored Expressions, The glasses are from Frantic Stamper, the glasses are from Poppy Stamps, the sugar cubes and little cinnamon shaker (for these purposes-but it’s meant to be a tea bag) are from the MFT Hot Cocoa Cups and Tea Party Sets. And for the newspaper, that’s one of the prints in the Fabulous paper pack and I folded it up and glued it together.
And up top, some crinkly seam binding ribbon from DL Art store, those beautiful Poppy Stamps Stitched Evangeline Snowflakes, the awesome Hugs die from Stamplorations and some of my favorite Shimmer Sequins from CDD! I arranged the snowflakes on top of the ribbon to be kind of flower-ish and then tucked the largest underneath.
So thanks for stopping today! You should definitely check out this Poppy Stamps challenge here! The rules are simple and right in the Challenge Post! You have 12 days (as of this posting) to play along with the Snow Day Challenge! Hope you’ll join me and play along! Remember you only need to use one Poppy Stamps product… you MUST have at least one… I mean… it’s Poppy Stamps! See you over there!
