It’s Dana here with my first post of new year. Today, I’d like to share shaker card featuring products from Whimsy Stamps. Whimsy Stamps is one of our super sponsors and I shopped some products using gift certificate which was my prize from last Fall blog hop. Thank you so much, Whimsy Stamps!

Recently, I’m seriously obsessed with shaker cards. If you are my follower on instagram or blog, you’ll see many shakers again and again over couple of weeks hehe. Here is the one for today.

I started by stamping girl image from Whimsy Stamp Hot Chocolate Honey onto Arches Hot Pressed watercolor paper. I colored most of this image using Zig clean color real brush markers with waterbrush and some parts (eyes, chicks, sweater) with copic markers. For adding more texture to whipped cream, I applied snow marker and heat embossed it.
Next, I die cut using Whimsy Stamps Cherry Blossom Panel Die from A2 sized white card stock. I fixed die cut panel to original card stock by taping the back using paper tape (e.g 3M Micro pore paper tape). I then stamped sentiment from Altenew Adore You stamp set onto the front and glued acetate on the back. Then, I mounted foam tape to build a shaker.

For background, I pulled out a piece of bristol paper and ink blended it with Distress Oxide Inks. I used Peacock Feather, Broken China and Wilted Violet. I glued distressed panel to A2 sized white card base. I adhered peach color washi tape top and bottom of the card base, too.

I placed Pretty Pink Posh Sparkling Clear Sequins Mix on the card base and combined it with die cut panel. I adhered some sparkling heat stickers as shown. To finish off, I added Ranger Diamond Stickles to heart on the cup.
