Happy New Year everyone and welcome to the first Caffeine Fueled Paper Play of 2018! This time around I’m playing along with the Calling All Sistahs Encouragement Challenge over at CAS-ual Fridays Stamps! Here is the Inspiration Photo:
And here’s how I was inspired:
You may or may not have heard… CAS-ual Fridays just released a whole bunch of awesome Coffee stamp and die sets!! They are all available in the shop right now and you can find them by clicking here! But don’t go yet! Just give me a couple minutes… pretty please…
I got so super lucky and won the release by commenting on the CAS-ual Fridays Blog a couple weeks ago! I got my package in the mail on Saturday and had to start creating right away! I am so grateful… I really didn’t believe I’d won the whole release until it came in my mailbox. I was certain I misunderstood…lol! I used the new To-Go Cup Fri-Dies for the cup and the Hot Coffee stamp set for my sentiment.

Ok… now… the main idea of this challenge most months is to create a card of encouragement, something uplifting. For this month’s challenge, it’s ok to link up with a Christmas/Holiday card instead of the traditional encouragement card… I decided to do both! I chose my sentiment because to me it’s a fun way to say… get up and get out and enjoy life! And I was inspired by the beautiful traditional Christmassy colors in the inspiration photo AND it’s a drink. I mean… I was gonna do coffee either way, but so happy it worked out that way!
I added some pretty flowers and snowflakes … I like the mix of tropical type flowers along with chilly snowflakes… cause they both make me happy and why not??
