Did you have a good New Years? Did you go out or stay in? We stayed in with my grand daughter sleeping over and my parents coming over to play cards and other games. Quite enjoyable!
Anyways, time for another Caffeinated Inspiration.
I don’t know about you, but we don’t have any snow yet and apart from the windstorm the other week, our weather has been quite mild.
Nonetheless, winter is here and this photo spoke to me.
How are you inspired? colors? theme? 2 mugs? rustic?….
I usually tend to pull the theme and the colors…. today I went with the theme – although I did manage to get the trees into the background.
I have used the Snow & Cocoa collection from Crate Paper along with a cute little stamp set from Newton’s Nook. I bought the set last winter but just finally inked it up… tell me you do that too?!
To create the little tag, I just cut out small pieces from the pattern paper and layered them together. I then stamped the mug and sentiment and added them. The mug is mounted on foam squares for some dimension.
Once again, if you follow my blog you will know, I had to use that Alpine Border die from Poppy Stamps. One of my favorite winter dies!
Now I would love to see how you are inspired. Of course, coffee, tea or hot chocolate themed please.
