Hello there coffee loving papercrafters! It’s Kerry here and I’m back with this week’s Sunday Sip! I’m adding a little funk to the mix this week with my festive painted plaid and doodle stripes. I paired it with a fun embossed imprint of the Happy Holidays Embossing Folder and the Le Cafe french press coffee pot.
I started off by painting the stripes using some Green Olive and Candy Apple Red acrylic paint from Fun Stampers Journey then added some black (Micron Pen) lines with a ruler. I colored in a few intersections with my marker too.
I splattered a bit of Gold Silk onto the painted image then added some sparkle/striped Candy Apple washi tape. I stamped the sentiment onto a white panel then stamped and fussy cut the french press and the holly with my Journey pro shears. I colored the holly with some Tombow markers.
Mounting the stamped panel came next…I used a bit of festive print paper from the Through The Year Prints then mounted it onto Green Olive cardstock and finally, mounted the whole panel onto a whip cream card base!
Interested in playing along with the challenge??? The sketch below coordinates with this week’s card so if you’re diggin’ this sketch, why not play along?! Just add a link to your project in the inlinkz below. This challenge runs through the month of December!
