Coffee Loving Papercrafters

I had a sudden realization today: there are exactly 5 Mondays left until Christmas is here. Yipes!!! That means holiday card season is fast approaching and I don’t feel nearly ready.

Luckily, I got some great inspiration from Time Out Challenges this week and Michele Ferguson‘s lovely design that they are inviting us to CASE.

I decided to use her design but transform it into a Christmas version.

I embossed some fireworks from the Visible Images Rays of Light stamp set then sponged over it with Festive Berries Distress Ink.

Ya’ll know me… and I have a serious grudge against clean lines, so I muddied up my edges a little by spraying it with some water and watching it bleed into the white space. Heh heh heh.

I used two die cuts to create this look – Winnie & Walters In a Word: Joy Cutaway and STAMPlorations Tag O’ Coffee die cut to make the little red tea kettle.

I added a punny little sentiment from the STAMPlorations Caffeinated Christmas stamp set. If you love coffee and tea  and christmas and puns you HAVE to go check out that set!
