Coffee Loving Papercrafters

Happy Monday, my friendly friends! I’ve got a super chic card to share with you, which highlights my favorite color – red.

We are definitely experiencing the onset of winter here in North Dakota and had our first snowfall on Thursday. It inspired me to pull out this cozy coffee girl from Unity Stamp Company’s Warmth of Winter set.

Don’t worry, I didn’t really paper piece her in green stripes, I just masked her up so I could add a frosty layer of trees in the back using Iced Spruce Distress Inks..

See? Now don’t you feel silly for worrying about those stripes? I removed that ugly mask and spotlight colored in the heart on the coffee cup.

I added a typographical sentiment from STAMPlorations which will be released in November (so you guys get a super top secret preview shhhhh)

I am loving the drama created by using only one spotlight color. Don’t you?
