I’m back and ready to play! This time I’m using my new Spooky Sentiments and Got Pumpkin stamp sets from Coffee Lovers Blog Hop Sponsor Brutus Monroe (along with some items from a few others)!
Brutus Monroe has some very cool Inspiration Boxes from time to time and when the Halloween box came out, I hesitated.. and when I went back it was too late! And oh how I sighed and pouted when I’d see someone post a piece using the awesome Spooky Sentiments set that came in the box which has some adorable little Halloween monsters and equally adorable sentiments. And the box is made up of items you can only get in the Inspiration Box of course so I was out of luck! (Yup… I had a pity party).
And all of a sudden… much to my surprise.. I was on Facebook and checked out the Brutus Monroe Fan Club and saw a post that said there were just a few of these stamp sets left and they were in the shop to purchase! Yay me! So a couple days later it was in my mailbox of course! (As of the time I’m writing this the stamp set is still available… but for how much longer, I do not know). I used the skeleton in the set and then stamped and cut out the pumpkin to use as his new head…. ’cause… well.. the sentiment!… which is from the Got Pumpkin set which has a cool to go coffee cup (that was way too big for my purposes today but it will be perfect on another card!).
If you LOVE these rectangle layers, the ones with the scalloped cutouts are from Sponsor Reverse Confetti and the simple stitched orange vellum layer is from Sponsor Craftin Desert Divas.
Did you notice that adorable little heart in his chest… LOVE little surprises like that!
It was hard to find a cup small enough for this guy and for some reason I wanted a to go cup. I ended up using the cute little coffee cup die that comes with Sponsor Craftin Desert Divas Inside Scalloped Square dies… what an awesome bonus along with an awesome die set! I did cut it down just a bit so it didn’t cover too much of my cute Skeleton Pumpkin Man.
Because Brutus Monroe doesn’t at this time have their own challenge, I’m linking up to two other challenges. Did you know that Sponsor D.L. Art (Diana Larson) has a monthly Linky Challenge that is always anything goes (and she has some awesome ribbons and flair buttons and more) and then The Corrosive Challenge for October which is Anything Goes (love anything goes!) These are both monthly challenges and there are prizes for both! And as always please be sure to read the rules for all challenges before you link up.
That’s me for today! Thanks for popping in today and hope you’ll give these challenges a try and I’ve added links to the products I’ve used throughout so have fun!
