Coffee Loving Papercrafters

I found myself in the market for a male-themed thank you card the other day, and what better way to espresso my gratitude than by creating a coffee themed thank you.

I’m gonna be real honest here and confess that, while I bought every color of Distress Oxide when they first came out, I have not used them very often at all. Ergo, (don’t you love when you can use antiquated words in a sentence) I pulled them out and had a crack at them.

I used the STAMPlorations Framed Coffee to Go stamp and inked up one layer of Walnut Stain Distress Oxides onto a piece of ivory cardstock.

Over the top of that, I used my Misti and inked up a few areas of the stamp using Broken China Distress Oxides. SInce Oxides layer over the top of each other, this gave off a cool vintage, rusty looking effect.

I added lots of layers and cozy fall patterns, along with a sentiment from the STAMPlorations Literary Caffeine-ations stamp set.

Add a big ol’ button and Taaaa-daa! A warm, thoughtful thank you card perfect for a man. Boom!
