Hello there Coffee Loving friends! It’s Kerry here and I’m back to share another card and sketch creation. Today, I’m pairing up this Echo Park But First Coffee sentiment with with a little stenciling, some shimmery gold ink and gold embossing powder! Yum, yum!
I started off by stenciling some gold ink onto the cranberry cardstock with a baby wipe. Yep, a baby wipe. After that, I stamped the sentiment using some clear embossing ink and gold embossing powder. I cut up the sentiment page so I could add a thin layer of pink cardstock and then reassembled it. Tying a bit of black twine to this stenciled panel was next.
I splattered some gold and bronze ink onto the card base then attached the panel to the base. To finish the card off, I crushed up a little coffee bean and sprinkled a bit onto the card then added an additional bean to the twine and added some gold pearls for sparkle. Such an aromatic card! Yum!
If you’re interested in the fabulous porcelain etched mug featured in my photos, It is designed and created by the fabulous ceramist Jim Gottuso. His designs (and their amazing handles) are exceptional. You can find him on Instagram as @jimgottuso and on Etsy.
Now let’s take a look at this week’s sketch challenge that was inspired by my card! I hope you find some time to play along with the sketch. If you do, please include a link to your creation in the inlinkz below. When sharing to social media, please include the hashtag #clcsipandshare for easy reference.
