Coffee Loving Papercrafters

Happy Friday!  Today we are going to meet our two new Facebook Ambassadors, Robyn DeRossett Jordan and Lori Turner!  These ladies will be offering up cheery hellos to new members and general crafty love all over the Coffee Loving Papercrafters Facebook Group.  Robyn and Lori are going to share one of their favorite coffee cards they’ve made and tell you a little bit about themselves.  Also, you may or may not have noticed that in order to help us admin the Facebook Group, there are questions that new members are asked to answer when they request membership.  They may seem silly, but it helps us to tell who wants to join because they love Coffee, Tea, and/or Hot Cocoa and love to or are interested in making things inspired by said beverages AND who doesn’t even know why you should NEVER take the scissors from my crafty space and use them to cut anything besides the finest of cardstock!  We thought it would be fun if Robyn and Lori answered these questions as well!

First up, Robyn!

I’m Robyn and I’m a stay at home mom of 2 adults!  28 year old son and a 20 year old daughter. I am a grandmother to a little boy who is 6 years old.  I’ve been married to my husband for 33 years.  I love to cook and clean when I’m not creating cards in my scrap room (aka my happy place)!!  I love to take cruises, but I am also a house cat!  I love being at home.  I’ve been crafting for over 10 years.  I love card making, but started this obsession with scrapbooking.  I read constantly, devouring 2-3 books a week.  My Kindle reads to me as I am crafting (audio books).  I am so thankful to be part of this team.  🙂 

Annoying FB Admin: What form of Papercraft or Art do you love best?

Robyn: I’m a card maker! Not clean and simple though. I never feel like my cards are finished sometimes!  I love to embellish- a lot:)

Annoying FB Admin: What is your favorite hot beverage? 

Robyn: German Chocolate flavored coffee, hot, is my favorite!!

 Annoying FB Admin: What’s the most important tool in your craft room?

Robyn: My ATG gun and Pink Cutterbee scissors!

Hello! My name is Lori Turner and I have been an avid paper crafter for the past 20 years or so, starting out with scrapbooking and then moving on to cards. I live in central Alberta, CANADA, with my hubby of 23 years and we are recently “officially” empty-nesters. I am a java-junkie who loves all things coffee, running, long walks, spending time in my craft room with my stamps and copics – and crocheting! I am beyond honored to be a part of this amazing team! xoxoxo
