Coffee Loving Papercrafters

Happy Monday, my fellow coffee, tea and cocoa loving cardmakers!   I’m finally using a couple new products that I’ve had patiently sitting in the corner of my craft room.  They were calling my name so I thought I would pair them together; the Bo Bunny Dreams of Autumn paper collection and Lawn Fawn’s Pumpkin Spice stamps.  You’ll find all the product links on my personal blog at Waving My Wand.  I also have some wonderful Coffee Buzz news today, featuring a coffee brand that supports a cause that is near and dear to my heart.  Stick around!

I’ll be brief today as this was an easy and fun card to put together, starting with coloring up my coffee cup, using Marvy Le Plume II brush markers and a water brush.  This Lawn 
Fawn stamp set is adorable and my sentiments were stamped and mounted on foam squares to a white background.  Clean and simple, to my not so clean and simple background.

Since my designer paper is so busy and full of awesome Autumn elements, I kept my embellishments to a minimum.  Fussy cut leaves from the Bo Bunny collection, May Arts Ribbon and some Queen & Company tiny bubble gems.  The card dimensions are 4″ x 6″.  All my adhesives are from Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L.  I’m so appreciative of our super sponsors and SAby3L and Lawn Fawn are both wonderful sponsors of our blog hops, so I always love to give a shoutout when using their products.

In honor of National Coffee Day, which was Sept. 29th, Caribou Coffee spends the entire month of October, giving back, to honor Amy Erickson, Caribou Coffee’s original roast master.  Amy lost her battle to breast cancer in 1995 but Caribou Coffee continues to donate 10% of all proceeds in the month of October to a wonderful organization, CancerCare, a non-profit organization helping members of your community; counseling, special programs, financial support/copays and more.  Read the full article at Coffeetalk.com,  I encourage you to purchase Caribou Coffee products this month; K-cups, beans, etc., knowing that this company is purposeful in helping those right where you live.  My mother and sister both battled breast cancer, thankfully, successfully, and I fully support those companies who do good things to help women (and men) survive this ugly disease.  If you can’t find Caribou Coffee locally (Kohls, Bed Bath & Beyond, Walmart, Target, etc.) you can purchase online at Caribou’s site.
