The Fall Coffee Loving Cardmakers Blog Hop is just five days away. Are you excited? It’s the hottest hop on the block! I have so many stamps that I want to play with! This is a busy time of year with seasonal projects in the spotlight and today is no different. I’m playing with Unity Stamps, as this week, I’m one of two featured Growing in Unity Girls for the Unity Stamp Company. Combining my Coffee Buzz post with my GIU post was a no-brainer! Stick around because I have Coffee Buzz news at the end of this post, as well. Plus, since I’m the Unity GIU Girl this week, I’ll be choosing 2 winners from my personal blog comments this week, to win a grab bag of 25 Unity Stamps. Be sure and visit my link at the end of this post.
I’m featuring two stamp sets today, the Full of Fall set and the Spring To Go set. Yes, Spring! I’ve had it in my stash and it has never seen ink, so, add fall colors, some texture and glitter and voile…. it doubles for Fall! I just wanted to show that seasonal stamps can be very versatile and transition into other seasons with the right coloring and products.
This glittery leaf is very hard to photograph! One of the downsides to glitter or foil. To achieve this glittery concoction, I stamped my leaf with Versamark, then heat embossed with clear embossing powder, but, take note…. don’t heat emboss all the way. Just heat it up a little until it just begins to bubble, then sprinkle copper extra fine glitter, tap off excess and finish the heat process. The glitter will seal onto the clear embossing powder! This shiny card packs a powerful, glittery punch, in person. My background was colored/smooshed with Ranger Ink distress oxides and I added Nuvo Morning Dew to my Echo Park Paper dot stencil for some clear tiny dots all over. I’ve also added some texture, as well. The cup is colored with the same oxide colors as the background, with a little texture from heated up Nuvo Morning Dew Crystal and glitter on top. Lastly, my sentiment was inked, and clear heat embossed on vellum. All my adhesives are by Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L. A full line-up of product links can be found on my personal blog post, linked at the end of this post.
Check out the photo above. That, my friends, is the prize that Unity Stamps is sending one lucky winner that links up to the Fall CLC Blog Hop that starts 9/15/17 at 6 am pst. It’s a week long event, so you have plenty of time to link up your newly created Fall themed coffee, cocoa or tea paper crafting projects. We are so thankful to have such generous Super Sponsors! Thank you Unity Stamps, and thanks so much for letting me share my love for Unity as the GIU Girl this week! If you’d like to see all my GIU projects this week, be sure and stop in at Waving My Wand, each day this week. Now, on to Coffee Buzz news……

By now, you may have seen the television commercials from McDonald’s, advertising a new line-up of espresso based beverages to their McCafe specialty drinks. Let me just say, I am not a coffee snob. I will try anything and if I like it? I’ll be back. The new offerings are: caramel macchiato, vanilla cappuccino, and americano. Best of all, they’ll be available for a limited time for $2 bucks. Smart move, Mickey D’s, because at that price point, of course I’m going to stop in for a taste test. They also announced their launch of a new line of Frappe bottled drinks to be available soon in grocery stores, following the trend set by other coffee brands. The launch includes three flavors; vanilla, caramel and mocha.
