Lisa Bzibziak is back with us again with an adorable project!

So… yeah… Hipster Fox Says What? I have been playing a lot with the Hey Foxy Shaped Card Set from the Cutting Cafe lately. (And some lucky commenter will win one from my blog post which you can find here if you are interested in checking it out!) And of course, the first thing that started rolling through my brain was, what kind of coffee card could I make with this cutie? This is what Amy Tsuruta has done to me…. 🙂

Since the Fall hop is coming my head turned to a cute hat and scarf. I actually used the top of the Frappe cup from Sugar Pea Designs Coffee To Go Cup Die to cut out his hat! It was the perfect shape and size. For the scarf I used the wavy stitched banner from Craftin Desert Divas. And then I used the most awesome Sweater embossing folder from Richard Garay. And those eyeglasses.. they were from Poppy Stamps but I wasn’t able to find a link to them so they may no longer be available, but I know Paper Smooches has a set here!

The main part of the sentiment comes in the shaped card set, and then I cut a little banner out of white cardstock and handwrote the word Hipster on it. Then a little puffy “arrow” points the way to where it should be inserted in the sentiment.. yeah.. I could have typed up my own sentiment, but it would have been longer than I wanted and I thought this would be cuter..

This adorable cup die from C.C. Designs (no longer available) was the perfect size for Foxy… you can never have too many different sized and shaped cup dies.. NEVER! And I loved having a chance to use some of these old but fun puffy stickers from my stash.

Sometimes these shaped cards can be tricky to decorate on the inside and make fun… but I used some of the CDD stitched flag banners for my sentiment and to add some more of the plaid (#madforplaid). I built my sentiment using a cute one from Taylored Expressions-Some Like It Hot along with the little Birthday Wishes from the Espresso Yourself set from Sugar Pea Designs…. and more puffies… and in case you didn’t know you were supposed to.. some instruction to how you should respond to the sentiment… insert “Laugh” here. No… seriously… please do so.

So that’s it for me today! Links to the products I used are throughout this post where available.
And just think… this time next week we’ll be knee deep in Coffee Hop! Woooo whee!! See you there!
