Happy Labor Day to all you American readers and a caffeinated hello to all my other friendly friends! In honor of the holiday (and directly opposed to its purpose) I’m going to be showing off some paper piecing action – a very labor-intensive card.
I wanted to make a little thank you note for a librarian friend. She also has a huge affinity coffee, so I pulled out STAMPlorations Good Books & Coffee stamp set – which combines the two loves of my life.
I’ve been feeling super guilty lately of the sheer number of paper scraps I have in my life right now, and one of the easiest ways to get rid of the leftover bits is by doing a little paper piecing action. I chose some papers and stamped my image onto each one.
I fussy cut out all of those little pieces and glued everything onto my main image.
I added a sentiment from the Literary Caffeine-ations stamp set, which is filled with coffee, tea and book sentiments.
