Coffee Loving Papercrafters

Hello!  We’re up to our fifth installment of our new feature…Design Team Q&A.  We are interviewing the team throughout the summer so that you get to know them!  Today we have the wonderful Erin Thiem.  She blogs every other Tuesday and her feature is called Creative Chaos.  In case you missed it, we’ve interviewed  Dana Gong, Laurel Seabrook, Dana Warren and Kathy Schweinfurth.

Tell us a little more about yourself!
Greetings!  My name is Erin, I live in Nevada City, California with my husband and 2 boys.  In addition to being a crafter, wife, photo taker, blogger, coffee drinker, I also own a motel and a campground in our community.

When did you join the CLC Design Team?
While I’ve been a coffee lover crafter since the beginning of time, I officially joined the team in May of this year.

What is your favorite coffee/tea or cocoa card that you’ve designed?
Do I have to choose?  Too hard…

What is your favorite color/color combo?
I’m always a fan of white on white, but I’m drawn to kraft and red.

We would love a peek into your crafty space, tell us a bit about it!
It’s a MESS!  There’s a reason my time on your blog is called creative chaos.  What I love about my craft space is that it’s my space, I don’t have to keep it organized…  (a nice break from the rest of life), it allows me more freedom to play, I do not have that inner pull to put things away, I’m just as happy to walk away and know everything will be right where I left it.

What are your ‘go-to’ crafty tools?
I love playing with dies and inks… a bit of stamping and I’m good to go.

Such a fun Q&A, this is one of the many reasons I love Erin so much, she always keeps things real.  We have many early morning conversations about how messy our spaces are!
