Hello! We’re up to our third installment of our new feature…Design Team Q&A. We are interviewing the team throughout the summer so that you get to know them! Today we have the fabulous Laurel Seabrook. She blogs every other Tuesday and her feature is called Coffee & Creativitea. In case you missed it, we’ve interviewed Dana Warren and Kathy Schweinfurth.

Tell us a little more about yourself!
I am happy to be back crafting more regularly lately. I took a bit of a hiatus as life got in the way but thankfully I am back at it! I have 2 girls (19 and 22) and am a grandma to a wonderful little almost 3-year-old girl.
When did you join the CLC Design Team?
I have been on the CLC team for only a few months but have played along with challenges and hops in the past.
What is your favorite coffee/tea or cocoa card that you’ve designed?
I love this one because it is a shaker card… hadn’t made one in years.

What is your favorite color/color combo?
This is hard to say… I tend to use a lot of blues, greens and browns (mostly kraft) even though my favorite color is pink
We would love a peek into your crafty space, tell us a bit about it!
Right now, it is kind of a mess! I am in the process of purging and reorganizing – something I love to do. But for me things need to be in sight as much as possible or I forget about them.
What are your ‘go-to’ crafty tools?
I can’t live without my paper cutter, my mini cutter from Creative Memories, sewing machine, stapler, die cut machines.
Inspiration can be found on Laurel’s blog and you can keep connected via Facebook, Instagram & Pinterest.
Yay! I love that Laurel loves to work with greens too! It’s my favorite color! We’re in luck, she’s sharing a new project with us today!

Hi everyone, I am back with another little coffee gift idea. Although I am not a coffee drinker, I have a lot of friends who are. This I created another coffee gift bag for when a little pick me up gift is needed for someone.
Once again, I reached for the Coffee Break collection by SU! what is not to love about this fun collection?! The stamps are also from SU! called the Coffee Cafe set. I created the panel and completed it (stitching and all) before adhering it to the bag. I mounted the coffee cup on foam squares for a bit of dimension.
Now I just love these little coffee cups and altered one with more of the paper. Inside, I would tuck either some chocolate covered coffee beans, coffee flavored jelly beans, or just some good chocolates 🙂
Wouldn’t it be fun to get a gift like this?
Thanks for visiting today 🙂
