Happy Tuesday, coffee and tea lovers!
Today, I’d like to share my love for Earl grey tea in my card! Let’s get started!
For this card, I started by stamping tea pot from Sweet Stamp Shop Tea Time stamp set onto watercolor paper. I white heat embossed ‘Earl Grey’ sentiment from the same stamp set, too.
I then painted watercolor wash using Mijello Mission Gold watercolor paint and Alpha Tint watercolor paint with much water.
For me, Earl grey’s color image is bright orange and yellow, so I used those colors in this card. I also splattered little bit green and pink watercolor drops using watercolor bush.
I watercolored tea pot using same watercolor paints and added glitters using Wink of Stella brush.
While they dried completely, I white heat embossed another sentiment from MFT on pink card stock and trimmed it down.
Earl grey is generally blended with black tea and bergamot essential oil. Sometimes lemon or other flavors are added to original blending and there are white, green, oolong, puerh tea base things, too. And I love all kinds of earl grey! Its delicious and fancy bergamot note and taste which becomes different depending on tea base always make cheer me up. So I combined two sentiments, Earl grey & makes everything better:)
To finish, I die cut watercolor panel using MFT Die-namics Stitched Wonkey and mounted all elements as shown in the picture on A2 sized card base.
Hope you enjoy this card! See you soon on Friday, Coffee Lovers 2017 Summer Blog Hop!
Love,
Dana
