Coffee Loving Papercrafters

I’m super excited to introduce Priscilla Grasse as one of our June Guest Designers!

Hello, friends! My name is Priscilla Grasse, I‘m a blessed wife and mom. I’m Indonesian but live in Germany with my beloved family. I’ve been an avid crafter since I was a kid. My first craft was beading, I loved beading when I was in elementary school, I made my own jewelry:) I also love the arts especially drawing and painting ever since I was a teen.

I started making cards the Summer 2015. I was inspired a lot by my friend Helen Gullett, who is a Coffee Lovers Design Team Member. She introduced me to cardmaking, step by step and recommended a few crafters from whom I could get inspiration. I’ve been hooked ever since I watched Kristina Werner’s tutorials on YouTube. I decided to create an Instagram account to share my new passion, cardmaking 🙂 I have met so many talented and kind cardmakers through Instagram. And they’ve become my friends 🙂 Wow! How awesome is this community!!! Don’t you agree with me?

I love tea and drink it every day. Sometimes I drink coffee, too but I’m not yet addicted to it. LOL! It is so fun to see crafters using coffee/tea/cocoa images to create beautiful cards so I joined the CLBH for the first time in September 2015, for the Fall theme. I was encouraged by Helen again to join the Fall Hop. Instead of using stamps, I thought I could draw images by myself and I only made one card. LOL! This is what I love from this hop, that I can draw my images, instead of using stamps from different stamp companies. It doesn’t mean I don’t like stamps. LOL!

It was such a big honour for me when Amy Tsuruta asked me to guest design for June and the Summer Blog Hop. I’ve been so thrilled to say YES hahaha…Thank you Amy for this chance!!! I’m so grateful for it. You will see a few of my projects during this hop. And yes, all images are hand drawn. I hope you like my cards. I wish you all happy hopping and have a great summer. Here’s Priscilla’s first project for the month:

Today’s project was inspired by our weekend getaway to the North Sea, Germany. It was a glorious sunny weekend and that’s why I came up to create the beach scene. I illustrated 2 girls/ladies who have shared their lives together through a beautiful friendship and they enjoy spending the time at the beach, drink coffee and watch the nature together. “Friends are therapists you can drink with” sentiment is perfect for this scene.
