Hello there coffee loving crafters! It’s Kerry here and I’m back with another installment of my Sunday Sip and Share. Today I’ve got a fun doodlicious card with a sentiment from the heart.
I wanted to create a little cold brew bottle for my card and since I haven’t seen any in the stamping world (yet), I decided to create my own! You see, there was this sentiment in a Bossy Joscie stamp set called
Oh…and did you know she has a new wood-mount set with a gorgeous song I love (Give Me Jesus by Jeremy Camp)…I LOVE LOVE LOVE it and of course, I just purchased it! Check it out here: Jesus and Coffee (PS…She has a Tea and baked goods cup too!). OK…back to my card…So I wanted to use this prayer sentiment in the Christian Greetings Set and I hope it doesn’t offend anyone but YES, I do pray for coffee by name…so it works for me!
After doodling up the image, I colored it with watercolor pencils and added a bit of Glossy Accents for shine. I watercolored the background paper and stamped the sentiment over that. Adding a bit of twine, a few flicks of silver silk and the popped up brew bottle finished the panel off. I mounted it onto a kraft card base and my card was complete!
