Coffee Loving Cardmakers Guest Designers

Happy Friday!  Neha is back again with us with a gorgeous project:

Hello Crafty-coffee loving friends,

It is already my third week here. Time is flying by so fast.

Today, I am here with a tea card. ( I hope I won’t disappoint coffee lovers…..:)). My first meal of the day is always a large cup of chai. It makes me human, instantaneously!

All the dies are from MFT – except week days die. I am not sure but I think it was by Kelly Purkey. The sentiment is by Verve Stamp and florals are w+9. I love when all different brands’ supplies  work together. I had fun creating this card. I hope you will like it.

Here is the recipe – just in case you wish to try typical Indian chai.

1 tbsp – Black Tea leaves( If you have access to any Indian store you can look for Lipton red label or waghbakri brands) .Twinings’ Assam Tea works as well.

1 tbsp – Sugar

1 Cup – Milk

½ cup – water

Some Ginger &/or Mint

In a Sauce pan, take water, tea and sugar. Let it boil till it reduce to half the quantity. Add milk and boil for a minute or two. Turn off the heat. Add grated ginger &/or 4-5 mint leaves and cover the pan for 3-4 minutes. This way chai will be well infused. Strain the chai with strainer. Enjoy.

Thank you so much for being here on the blog. Have an awesome day!

Gorgeous card. Love the recipe too…I didn’t realize the Indian chai was so much easier-with less spice. I love it in the fall when the air is crisp and I’m cozy in my pajamas! I’ve gotta try your recipe-sounds delish!

I use less spices as weather is already hot hear. For fall, you can add pinch of cinnamon and clove powder. Thanks!
