Coffee Loving Papercrafters

Hello there coffee loving papercrafters!  It’s Kerry here and I’m back with another Sunday Sip.  As many of us are celebrating Mother’s Day today, I’m celebrating my awesome mom in absentia.  Yes, she’s off gallivanting with my father in Europe and I know they are having a grand time…even without me. While I wait for more photos to arrive in my inbox, I’ll just imagine she’s sipping some tea or coffee from a fancy cup while overlooking the gorgeous countryside.  😉

I created this simple layout card by stamping the teapot from the Tea Time set from Fun Stampers Journey onto some kraft cardstock with Denim Days True Fusion Hybrid Ink.  After stamping the full panel, I used some Buttercream and Denim Days ink and some Journey Blending Solution to color (with a fine paintbrush) the teapot.  I think it colors the cardstock perfectly.  

After coloring the teapot, I stamped the sentiment (from a retired set that will make one final close-out sale on the 18th) and tied a little twine bow onto it.

Mounting the kraft panel onto Hazelnut cardstock then onto a whip cream base finished the card off.  Such a simple layout!
