Hello there Coffee/Tea/Cocoa loving crafters! It’s Kerry here and I’m back with another fun creation. This time, I was inspired by some yummy (and strong) blueberry tea I picked up at Wegmans. Yes, This weekend I stopped by to grab some of their loose-leaf “Help yourself” tea. I love that I can open the tins and weigh out the perfect amount of tea leaves for my needs. It’s probably not the freshest or the best loose leaf tea, but it definitely has an amazing aroma and has a nice and strong flavor…Perfect for my tastebuds!
Now, don’t let the light tea color fool you! This tea was steeped and strained perfectly. It has the most amazing flavor too. Nice and strong with a gorgeous blueberry aroma and flavor profile! So yummy!
I decided to create a simple and sweet card to pair nicely with this tea. I used The stamp set Coffee and Tea from Simon Says Stamp and applied Memento Inks (Cantaloupe, Angel Pink and Bamboo Leaves) in a “swipey” direct-to-paper method across a tea cup stamped background. The fun sentiment panel gave the card just the right quirk factor…I think.
A little bliny heart gives you a hint of what this yummy tea did to me…Yep, Love…
And the sweet little enamel baubels…Yep, they were the sprinkles on top!
Want to play along with this week’s sketch? Please do! I hope to see your fab creation soon. This week’s winner will receive a sample of the yummy tea and something inky too! Please make sure to include the hashtag #clcsipandshare in your social media post.
