Hello Coffee Lovers! It’s Erin, from Homemade Cards by Erin, I’m honored to be joining the talented crew of coffee loving crafters. My collection of coffee themed stamps is robust, to say the least, so I’m excited to have another excuse to ink ’em up and create. I can often be found crafting in the wee hours of the morning with a strong cup of coffee hiding somewhere amongst the chaos of my desk.
For my project I got inky with the Distress Oxide Inks to create a water color background, my trick to that is to pick a heavier weight card stock (I upcycled an old invitation). Then I layered some frames, the bottom frame is from Papertrey Ink and the top two are from My Favorite Things. One of the advantages to having so many different coffee sets is you can mix and match, so for my coffee cup I used the Simon Says Coffee die and for the foam from the Sugar Pea Designs Coffee to Go. I channeled a bit of Amy and added a tiny sliver of gold washi tape and added the Verve coffee sentiment to honor this fabulous blog.
