Hello dear coffee lovers!
It’s Andreea and I am happy to be back today to share with you a gift card holder. I enjoy sending gift cards to friends I don’t see too often and do not have the opportunity to share a coffee.
For today’s project I used the Lil’Inker Designs “Latte love” stamp set and the “Enjoy” word die tag.

I don’t actually have a card holder die (not to self for the shopping wishlist), so I had to improvise a bit with the dies I do have. The “Storybook 5” by Pretty Pink Posh turned out to be the perfect size for what I had in mind. The bottom square cut is the perfect size which allowed me to create a “pocket” for the gift card, by adding thin strips of mounting foam on the sides and the bottom – the card slides perfectly in it. To see this in action, please visit my IG account and make sure you slide for a very short video.
Before I glued the elements in place I stamped the coffee cup and sentiment using Altenew inks. The cardstock and ink colors I used were inspired by the colors of the gift card.
I love the Lil’ Inker Designs word dies. This one comes in a set of 3 (along with “Thanks” and “Hello”) and they are actually little tags. I think they add quite a bit of interest to projects.
I hope you enjoyed my idea for the gift card holder, would love to hear it from you if you give this a try.
Have a lovely day, my friends!
Hugs,
Andreea
